hmm, good question... let me do a little research. Hopefully someone else who's done an alarm install can chime in. It's the transponder bypass

When shopping, there are 2 kinds available. One is electronically pre-programmed and one is pretty much just a box where you store your spare key. I'd recommend the programmable one :top:
