It's irrelevant really, just some jabbing back and forth between people. Something that happens all the time on this forum. There was some editing/deleting etc. etc.. but in my opinion, no one party was more 'right' than the other. The punishment given out (albeit not my decision) was far too harsh. He has as much of a right as anyone of us to say his peace. Does he always go about it the best way? No; but do all of us? No, and I'm still here. :top: (suckers lol)

Lets just get him back and forget all this crap ever happened.

He's contributed a LOT to this forum, whether people 'like' him personally or not is completely irrelevant. This is an XR website for XR owners (and our honorary others) and that man knows his XR. He belongs here and that's that.

It was a conflict between 2 vendors in which case I agree with Rj because neither party was right and if anything they should both be on probation or neither. :top: David is a legit guy and I can honestly say when this guy gives out knowledge I just shut up and listen.

For the record- dougie poo has his good and bad. But don't we all. I personally hate to see anyone banned. But since he's on lock down I'd say he has broken a few rulez more than once. I think he should remain locked down until he dyno's his noz, puts a min of 5000 miles on the system, and runs at the track! Lol. Wait mods and owner will do what they want, don't like it.... Search for another forum.

Remember that post about me taking it over the line:laugh:? Well that's what happened. We (XRU Staff) aren't saying that one party is right an one is wrong...but one party crossed that line; in which resulted in what happened because we don't tolerate things like that. This action is what caused a temp probation. Nobody is banned here if you must know.

And FYI --- Doug has been communicating with us, and has mentioned that he's "OK" with not being a vendor, because he really wasn't selling anything lately. He's actually been a pretty stand up guy about the whole situation. Certain members (including myself; even as a staff member) tend to push the boundaries every once in a while. And when we look back on it, we realize that we were in the wrong...shit I have. Before I was a staff member, I can't even count the number of times I've had shit deleted or threads closed.

Steve (ntinhri) has been put on probation before (not entirely his fault), but he still was because XRU Rules and Guidelines were horribly broken.

It's all about what's best for the members and the future of XRU...plain and simple.

I have to say that Doug is one of my most valued members. and if he isn't back on soon, i guess i will have to evaluate if i want to continue or not as a member myself. It's not easy being a forum staff member...if anyone tells you otherwise, they're lying through their teeth! We consider both sides of every story/issue/topic/thread/post, etc...and we decide what's best for the XRU community. It's no cake walk fellas, I'll tell you that. I can honestly say that I don't feel as close to members (no homo) as I used to be since I became a staff member because I had to delete/edit a post or thread that the member had made. It isn't disrespect towards the members, but looking out for the better whole of the XRU community. I hope you guys can understand that.
