loudest exhaust setup?

who on the site has the loudest exhaust while getting the most HP gains?

exhaust really wont give you hp unless you get something like the headers and put a S/C in front of it.

But for N/A, Long tube headers, and something like a weld in Magnaflow or other muffler would be the best

that's a pretty open ended question... two identical exhausts on a F/I and N/A vehicles will net different gains.

Also, Sound and Performance are two different things typically. Sometimes it works out and you get what you want, but focus on one or the other. The DTLTs make the truck pretty loud and raspy, so most of the time you get a loud, well performing exhaust anyway.

yeah im on a N/A setup goin with DT long tubes and then idk what from there thinking about a dual setup jus want to see what is out there

i have true dual with a corvette resonator as my muffler. normal acceleration its deep WOT its loud and on cruise control its quiet and deep sounding

mine is pretty loud! I have the DT headers, straight piped with the 18" magnaflow. I'll eventually put some clips up. I don't know how some say it's too loud. It can never be too loud!!! Haha!

I have the DTLTs and teh URD Cat-Back on my X, i have the original URD muffler, which is louder than teh available now. I Love the way my exhaust sounds....:rockon:

I pulled some pretty good numbers on the dyno a few weeks ago. I also have the URD TCAI and MAF CAL. :top:

DTLTS make any exhaust louder and deeper.

I need to get a drive by vid now. Reving it seems load, but hearing it fly by is stupid loud.

You want loud.... A Cherry Bomb will do it.

My POS 4Runner came with one (the kid was 19 what can you expect?). It drives me nuts with how loud it is. It makes that little 22RE sound pretty mean at WOT :laugh:.

i have a super 40 turn down, with a trd cai, and i plan on dtlt's and urd y. that should be pretty loud
