My System

[Tacosys]

This is just a temporary system to hold me over until I get my other DD 9518G. I will be running 2 DD 9518G's off a pair of Sundown SAZ--3000D's strapped at .5 ohm. Right now here is what I have:

Stock battery, Batcap 2000,3 Batcap 800's, All 0 Gauge
Kenwood Excelon KDC-X791
DD DDC 6.5 components (Rear)
DD DDC 6x9's (Front)
DD DDT 1 5/8" Tweeters (Front)
Autotek MM 4000.1 on 4 DD 1510's
Autotek MM 100.4 (highs)

Got it bolted down now so no more straps lol^^

OH MY GAWD IN HEAVEN! that thing must hit so hard! One of the guys at the place that installed my system had one 8 inch DD sub in a ported box and it impressed the hell out of me.
Please tell me you have some decent mids like Focal or Dynaudio because as much as I love my tight punchy bass I love the the SNAP of a snare drum and clear vocals!

Cool...but a little too much for me. Plus...if I had that in my truck and I were to play, Hmmm let's see....TOOL for instance, it wouldn't sound good at all! But definitely crazy set up man!

TOOL sounds awesome, by favorite band of all time. Even got to see them in Pittsburgh last summer.

My Bad I just saw the subs. I am thinking of switching to a DD 10 I would just have to modify my Subxclosure as well as upgrade to a least 1000 watts. they hit hard!
Super super nice though. Still a bit too much for me I think the swap from my JL w6-V2 to the DD would produce great results!

The motor on those drivers are all the same size for 8,10, and 12 I believe they don't even have a watt rating.

That light is the most annoying thing ever. Some days it on, others its off. I think its the spare tire thats low. Because I checked and all my pressures are fine. Also the DD woofers that have unlimited power ratings are the DD99Z's. They retail at $3800 a woofer. The 9518's go for around $800. I am not going to pay another $3k for a .5db difference..
