haven't you heard of hardening? It makes the crank stronger. there is several versions of it. as far as the stock crank... no one has hit the breaking point yet and I know of some serious powered ones that have pushed it pretty hard on the stock crank.... I am just doing it as a safety measure...

With your gear ratios, you will easily be able to get to 170....@ 700 whp. That would be pretty fast. Maybe some Z rated tires too.

Yeah but these gears will be over kill for this amount of power... so I may be trading them for stock. :top:

As quick as I can get your block from david at apr to dan benson to get sleeved. then estimated 4 - 6 weeks to get the block back so hopefully by the end of the year if not earlier depending on how long it takes for me to get the block out. :top: Thanks again for helping brotha.

lol... I really don't care... I noticed the tags and if you look up tags... i'm in the top 70 tags used quite a bit. :laugh: So keep it coming peeps... Nah brother the reason I am asking is cause one person has hit the breaking point and is the hold up on his truck getting finished someone nobody likes on here but i wouldnt ask these questions for no reason just wanna see ya make it successful! Oh that person is now having a titanium crank custom made!

The guy above me is gonna bring his 1985 vw.... that thing will no joke be taking some names out there.... light ass car pushing over 500 hp... I think he will even pull me at 700 hp....

Yeah I have seen his crank... that thing is clean as hell... I wish I had the funds for that....

I thank you for looking out but yeah I have looked into the crank situation and for what I am planning to push. Hardening will actually be quite enough.... once I go higher i'll be looking into a custom crank... which will be way down the road... :laugh: The guy that is sleeving my block told me that we have 6 bolt mains... I have not confirmed that though. if anyone has any info on this please feel free to enlighten me on it if I am incorrect. :top:
