Oh... yeah that's just silly :laugh:
Although... there is the possibility that you can buy a base model vehicle and put money into it to make it better than the "premium, fully loaded, blah blah blah" and potentially come out spending less.
Also agree, depending on which car/trim we're talking about. Here's a great example:
2010/2011 WRX Hatchback, runs faster in the straights than the STi and for $10k less. Yes the suspension, braking are a little less worthy but are the STi's brakes/suspension really $10 grand better than the WRX? I say NO way in hell it could be. If I were in the market for either car, it would surely be the 2011 WRX hatch and with a few suspension/brake mod's it will hang with the STi even through the twisties. The 2011 even comes with the wider body kit that the STi has.
Oh and yeah the STi has the 6spd tranny and the WRX is just the 5 but again, is that really worth an extra $10k?
