Toyota06RR from '09

Finally got a round to runnin a few pulls on a dyno pack at my buddies shop, we was able to run 2pulls each from 3rd to 5th, since he wasnt sure which one would be the right gear.

anyways now that I have a baseline, I sent Gadget my Maf cal so i can have a map loaded in, hopefully I have it back by saturday for another run,

hes have a MR2 meet so dyno runs are only 40, so anyone around San Jo want a run let me know.

Also my A/F was 11.4 at WOT, i only have a scangauge2 to read

Just picked up my 08 a couple weeks ago... and to answer the other thread's question - $4,100 in mods before my first payment :stupid: Highly recommend Gerone from Toyota of Dallas (trdparts4u).

Baseline today on a Dyno Dynamics - 180RWHP/230FT-LBs. DDs are known for reading a bit lower. Will return after my S/C is installed next week :top: and follow up with another post.

LOVE this truck. TRD s/s (I'm learning these acronyms slowly) this weekend. Hard wired my Passport 8500 radar detector yesterday.

Awesome forum - lots of great info :adore:

Unless the mod list says some sort of tuning device, then it should be on the stock ecu. Only exception would be that if the aftermarket tuner wasn't listed.

JPAYNE722's #'s in the two links below.

MODS:

AFE Stage 2 SI cai,JBA long tube headers,URD ypipe,URD mk2 catback ,NST pulley,APR X1,URD Cam Gears,APR Thermostat..more to come

i posted a link of the truck being dyno, but i stand corrected on the numbers i posted before of what it would have been on a dyno jet. PTuning actually did a free extra dyno pull for using how ever percentage lower Dyno Dynamics reads.Than i got happy

Does anyone know the max hp/tq you can get n/a?

Without doing cams, or an internals, there is only one mod left that I can think of that could add extra power, if all other bolt-ons are already had. An after market intake manifold. NOS excluded.

With full bolt-ons and stock block with tuning, probably just under 300whp and about 320wtq. At the highest.

Add in some mild cams (so that you don't have to mess with the intake cam gear phasing) and it will be higher. But at that point, you are going into the engine. And any amount of additional modding can then be done.

So you need a point of reference to start from.

Had a dyno this week end. petty much all stock motor, has TRD in take and boiler exhaust, puttin on the headers and y pipe on today. I also have a same year throttle body out of a 4 runner( 7.5 mm) to put on to. I would like to know what all can I do to get more power with out spending a tone of $ on a S/C . I know some of you guys are getting close to the 300 hp range . Iv got about $1500 to spend. i wanna get to or as close to 300 hp N/A.

Very nice! Thank you for adding this. :top:

Are you going to dyno again after the new throttle body install?

My recent pulls. Stock engine, Stock '05 headers, stock 4x4 y pipe, and no catback.

SAE and STD corrections, so that the differences can be seen between the two.

The first run was in 3rd gear. Second run was in 4th. If you look to the top right, you can see the overall calculated gearing.

Let off in 4th gear due to wheel vibration. The right rear possibly needs to be balanced or recentered.

Maybe Gadget has that file? Hint hint.

I wouldn't mind seeing one with just a MAF Cal, and a AEM standalone as well.

That low end torque jump got me excited. I need more towing power in the 2000-3500 rpm range. But I also need to keep my cats, so the long tubes are out......
