so do we have to contact them or do we just get a room when we get there? :dontknow:

You will want to call and make a reservation prior. The rooms will be released 48 hours before the event or we have to pay for all of them.

If you have purchased your ticket, please PM me with your real name (and order number if you have it) and I'll send over the hotel info. :top:

Im still on the edge waiting for more people to sign up before I buy a ticket

The event is happening regardless of how many people sign up. I'm just hoping that the people that decide not to come, after seeing the pics and video afterward, realize what a good time they missed.

Look at this way, if only 8 people show up... you got a 1 in 8 chance of winning a set of traction bars. If it were me, I'd go just for that (well and maybe the hotties at Havasu).

I've gotta give big props to the AZ crew who are mad-representin' so far! You guys rock!

i believe the traction bars wont fit my truck...however I could sell them:laugh::biggrin:

but seriously, I do want to go, and I love going to the AZ meets, which have been huge and awesome every time, buttttt....

I cant see myself driving that far for so little show...

Can you change the poll, so we can all see who voted for what...that way we can hunt down every last member in the "area" and pm them until they sign up...and then I can fully commit:laugh:

Driving that far? Seriously? You west coasters are spoiled rotten or something. Google maps shows that you're 5 hours-ish from Havasu.

You guys realize that last year, our first year, we had people drive 12 and 14 hours to go to this event!

- I drove 9 hours to X-Fest 2007
- 4 hours to a meet in Wilkesboro,NC
- 3.5 hours to the Totally Twisted Meet #2
- 4 hours to the Virginia Beach meet
- and 13 hours to the meet in Orlando

Of the 25,000 miles on my truck 3,600+ miles have been driving to X-Runner meets. And you know what... I'd do every single one over again if I could. You guys need to suck it up a bout --- I'm telling you --- driving in a convoy of 6-12 trucks making a 5 hour trip MUCH more fun and also makes it seem much shorter.

And why haven't any of our LA members signed up yet? No one willing to drive 4.5 hours for this event??? :dontknow: You guys are killing me!

im waiting to see what my buddy is going to do. Gotta make sure he has the time off work so i can purchase the tickets at the same time. No need to run the card twice!

Im there no matter what. I do think its pathetic that out of the 27 Xrunners we had at the huntington beach meet last summer we have like 4 going to XFW... kinda sad guys really..

I'm definitely going no matter what, even if it's just me, it's still a nice vacation spot

But seriously, our tucson meet alone had what, 14 trucks or so? both tucson and phoeinx are decently close to havasu as is. Just southern cali has to have a ton of members as well. And we have at least what 4 or 5 active members in the vegas area? we should be to get 25 trucks or so easy...

I can't even describe to you guys how much fun x-fest in Atlanta was (see popcorn picture), this meet is gonna be awesome. I really hope more people get signed up :top:

Im not saying 5 hours is insanly long...I myself have driven 19 hrs and 1000 miles in a single day completely alone

my point is, I dont want to go "that far" to meet up with the az guys, lol, which is most of the people who have signed up

so thats why Im waiting for others to sign up!

I'm really not trying to argue with anyone - but if everyone keeps waiting for everyone else to sign up before they commit, no one will ever commit. See my point? Like I said though, the event will happen regardless of if it's 7 trucks or 30. We've put too much work into this to cancel it now. I just hope that more of you guys out there get to go. :top:
